My new arrival
Just took delivery of my carbon fiber fenders I ordered back at the beginning of May. A three and a half month wait gave me second thoughts about my plans and installing them. This project will wait until winter hits (if Imove ahead with it) as I still have plenty of drive time left in the summer months here in NY.

Let us know on how they fit.

Just got more goodies dropped off. Morimoto headlight assemblies. If I'm gonna have the front apart, I may as well do it all at once!

Really curious too. I’ve purchased my last stuff from Fly1 and will not be doing anymore business with them. I had their RS1 fenders and they fit for garbage. I would still snag a set in the future if they came off a Z and actually fit. 😂

Got around to installing/dry fitting the passenger side fender and morimoto headlamp assembly. Im no professional but IMO fitment seems pretty good. Maybe a little tweaking and a spacer where the side skirt sits; but in all I am satisfied. I hope the driver side fits as well!!

If it does have the same gaps the OEM fenders, then it does not fit well.

Personally i'd want the fitment to be spot on otherwise it would bother me lol... but If you aren't to picky with the fitment and you like them then i envy you cause they are prob my fav fenders for the z and the carbon looks real good on them too

I wouldn't vest myself into disagreement with anyone satisfied with the fit. Not like it blatantly doesn't fit at all. Bottom line good for you if the install isn't coming with serious hassles and there's no damage out the box.
But just personally, like some, I wouldn't go for it on my own car. I wouldn't feel like the money and wait justified itself. |

bottom line, are you happy with it, because that is all that matters...
if not, then you have a decision to make....

I got Vertex fenders for my IS300, and although that is a fairly well known JDM brand . . . it still didn't fit perfect. Wasn't even the same side-to-side, frankly
They are listed a 15 mm wider, but if you roll/pull metal fenders, you actually can get close to that AND they aren't at risk of cracking. So lesson learned: Stick to metal unless you're not driving the car, or you have air and avoid any touching
