Default Shine Auto Amuse install (recommendations please)

Has anyone here gotten a full Amuse kit fully installed, fitment fixed and painted. Preferably "Shine Autos" amuse kit. Im trying to figure out what the average cost people spent on it. Im getting some quotes right now, from different shops and Id rather not get F'ed over or lied to. Maybe even giving me the name of the shop that did your work would be awesome.

I dropped my car off last week, at a shop, to do a full amuse install. I talked to them yesterday and they want to charge me $15-20k for fitment fixes and paint. So Im a bit frustrated I wasted a week so far with this, cause Im not paying 5 figures for fitment fixes and paint on a kit.

I went to this shop because they are very good at what they do and I thought this would be a very easy job for them. Instead, they are telling me every part of the kit needs custom brackets and they need to cut up the stock bumper...which is BS, as far as Im concerned.

I did a full custom build and repaint on my 350z in 09' and it only cost $15k. This shop wants a minimum of that for a basic kit install.

Also, any recommendations of a reputable shop, within Tennessee, Georgia, or North Carolina would be great.

shine auto is actually known to have pretty good fitment. Even if it was garbage, $15-20k would be far too much.

I was told by the shop that did mine that it was the best fitting aftermarket kit they have ever worked on. Required very little extra work to install. I think maybe the skirts required some fiddling around. I can not honestly recall how much I paid, but I am thinking $5-6 g's at the most and that's Canadian.

I went through all the Amuse threads here and made up a binder for the body shop to follow. I have summarized all my finding in the following thread.

Carbon fiber amuse install help needed

You should take your car out of the shop you have it currently in. They do not seem to know what they are doing.

lol that's not even close to how much my friend paid to have his liberty walk wide body kit installed and painted on his gtr. He paid $6,800 for everything. Stay far far away from that shop

Wide body requires cutting and then much more work after to make it all fit right. Way higher degree of difficulty

If you have a garage, you can do the fitting yourself. Usually you'll just need to trim and cut, which you can do if you have one of those small blade grinders.

I bought an amuse kit 2 months ago. I paid $300 to have my front bumper fixed and fitted (because it broke in several location during shipping). I need to take the rear bumper to the same guy to do the fitting, but he already quoted me $300 for it.

And he will charge me $700 for paint, so in all it will come out to $1300 for fixing/fitting/painting the kit. This guy worked on my 350z body kit so I know the quality of the work he does.

I just cannot believe people would pay 4-6k+ for fitting and painting 2 bumpers. You can paint a full car for less, and that's more work than just fixing 2 bumpers. A lot of people get quotes at high end exotic body shops that mostly work on super or luxury cars and they are charging you for their reputation, not the actual work.

I support small businesses, so I pay less

Edit: I am not doing side skirts, because they suck and make your car too low, so that factors into the low price, but even with side skirts, 4-6k+ is insane. I am doing the wing but no fitment is needed, I will get it painted and I will install it myself, so I'm only paying to have front/rear bumpers and wing painted.
