Cruise light flashing (replaced BOTH sensors) dont know what to do now!
Im at a loss for how to fix this thing. Cruise light started flashing. I was about to install my RJM pedal so i said hell ill just buy a new cruise switch for the install. Got it installed, 5 minutes into driving, light flashes come back. So i took what I thought was my bad switch (the original one) and put it in place of the switch on the brake pedal, thinking maybe it was the bad one. Turned car on, minutes later the light starts flashing again. Engine temps are never high, car runs great. Does anyone have any freaking ideas as to what to do next?
Car is a 2010 nismo with under 37,000 miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You try resetting the ECU?

I usually just disconnect the negative battery cable for a minute, or you can follow this process:

After you reconnect you'll need to reset your windows.

Well if you have had them for a while, then it is probably not what I am thinking. Unless you have changed tire sizes recently.
I recall there is an issue when the overall diameter (rear to front diameter ration) does not fall with in a certain percentage. But maybe that messes up the VDC. I can't recall 100%.

Yeah that typically messed with the VDC. Just to confirm though, i am using my stock nismo tire sizes as well. So that shouldn’t be the issue.

Happens intermittently (once or twice a year) with the cruise control system off on my '10 with OE tires and on the new matched set as well. NEVER happens with it on, car never runs hot. Chalk it up to a wire or ground issue somewhere and move on. I may try the brake ASCD switch if I can find one as Courtesy says they're discontinued. No third pedal switch to worry about.
