Default CF Parts

I’m about to order some CF parts for my car for cosmetics and had a few questions.

1. CF hood: I’ve read and saw YouTube videos of people having to drill holes for the windshield washer tubes underneath for different brands. Is this required of all hoods?
2. CF hood: Do I have to use hood pins or can it just be plug/play with the oem latches?
3. CF doors: The website said these are for off-road use only? I didn’t see any laws about doors having to be aluminum? Is it hard to transfer the glass and motor to the doors?
4. CF trunk: Is it hard to transfer the glass or would this need to be done professionally?

Seibon TS had the holes already for the washer lines. The tabs pressed in. I think one was over sized but a smidge of silicone would hold it in place. I used OEM latches for a few years without issue. No idea about doors or hatch.

Depends on the quality of the hood.
2. CF hood: Do I have to use hood pins or can it just be plug/play with the oem latches?
Have to no, recommended probably. Hood pins are part of racing safety regulations and people use them to make their car "look" like it was a race car. Unless you are planning to do triple digits on the highway?
3. CF doors: The website said these are for off-road use only? I didn’t see any laws about doors having to be aluminum? Is it hard to transfer the glass and motor to the doors?
Probably for legal, cover your ***, reasons though I can't say for sure.
4. CF trunk: Is it hard to transfer the glass or would this need to be done professionally?
If your asking, you should get it professionally done.

Good luck sounds like a hell of a project and a lot of $$$.

His car is what inspired me, though I won’t be going all out like him.

Did you get the hood with the vents? If so, are these vents functional or just for show? The reason I ask is because I wouldnt want water going into the engine if I drive in the rain.

Thanks man. Something I’ve always wanted to do and want to do at one time, rather than pieces here and there.
