Stock mid-pipe to muffler bolts

I was helping a buddy install some test pipes yesterday and we couldn’t get the nuts loose off the mid-pipe to stock muffler. So we cut them. Little Did I

Default Stock mid-pipe to muffler bolts

I was helping a buddy install some test pipes yesterday and we couldn’t get the nuts loose off the mid-pipe to stock muffler. So we cut them. Little
Did I know that those bolts don’t come out. So unless we drill them out somehow, is a new mid-pipe our other option? Thanks guys

Those studs should come out. use a hammer and chisel and some PB blaster. Or a drill.

Man, I put pb blaster on them and let them sit for about 8 hours and hammered on them non stop and still got nothing. I’m not sure if they’re just really rusted in or what...

Yeah, you messed up. Those studs are welded in. You will need a torch to cut the welds or get a used midpipe.
