I'm going to replace my center gauges in the future but haven't dug into the OE center gauge cluster yet. I'm assuming it's not possible to mount Defi gauges to the OE bracket (if there is one) which is why you made your bracket?

I've been following what he's done and he's using the same gauges I bought (Defi Advance BF). I'll be doing mine as soon as I receive the bracket. It's reassuring to have someone that's already done it with exactly what you bought.

You can't mount to OEM bracket directly, i there is DYI thread where someone removed entire dash and i think reused some of the OEM parts of the gauges to mount defi's, but you can't just take oem bracket and mount another gauge, you'll have to do some modding.
