Default Aftermarket Shift Knob

I installed a new shift knob from Billetworkz and after installing it i noticed that the shift boot would lift, it the base of the shifter or top of the boot because there was no cap on top, its about a 2 and a half gap between the bottom of thw shifter to the top of the shift booty Does anyone else have this problem ? And know how to fix it ?

I used a combination of some hose and washers. TWM supplied some O-rings (same concept as the zip-tie) but everything could still be pushed down, as you will be able to with just a zip-tie. It's not a huge deal, I guess as you don't really touch the shift boot, but I didn't want it to be moveable.



In this manner the boot can't be pushed down, even by accident.
