General consensus on Nismo wheel well mouldings
Hey everyone --
I may soon be purchasing a Nismo, and I'm on the fence about those wheel well mouldings. I did a search, and there are threads from folks who have removed them, and others who appeared excited about the opportunity of adding aftermarket ones. I'm leaning in the direction that they seem to interrupt the lines of the design. How do the rest of you feel? Are there any other reasons why you might leave them on? Thanks for your input! |

I think most of us dislike them, and a TON of Nismo owners have removed them!
Rip them off! Lol Honestly, I hope you’re buying a used Nismo, I don’t care how good of a deal you’re going to get for a new one, the 370Z, now more than ever REALLY doesn’t hold its value.

The one I'm looking at right now is a one-owner 2017, slightly below market, with unusually low miles. I'm going to void all the warranties with the mods I've planned, and I've had a difficult time finding a good one under 10,000 miles. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one...

There are dozens of 16-17s with less than 10k miles on them, not tooooo surprising

Btw I would recommend getting rid of the flare. Those were offered aftermarket by some JDM mfr. if I recall correctly.

General consensus on Nismo wheel well mouldings
Well, I like mine. It makes it stand out from the rest and fits the wider Nismo
wheels and tires perfectly. They do also offer a good deal of fender protection as a bonus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They're stupid. Take them off
The way they are attached with a clip on the inside actually reduces wheel clearance U need to take them off for rolling/pulling the fenders

Now I remember. J-Line/J-Next made them. It never gained popularity.....sooooo Nissan made it OEM for the Nismo.
