Need help to fix scratch on Z steering leather
Hi guys,
I had a lot of fun on drifting course yesterday but also I found 3 scratch on my steering wheel leather from my bit of long nails...... It is not too bad but doesn't feel well when you have your hand hover over it. Any quick fix i can do to smooth out the surface? Thank you for the help! Best, Xi |

Trim/sandpaper the high spots and then apply a little shoe dye (or similar).

Most leather is not perfect when it comes off of the animal. I suggest you just use a good leather cream/conditioner on the steering wheel and the scratches will dissipate.

See, to me, that sounds like an excuse to get a Carbon Fiber Element wheel

Here you go. I've used it several times. Just make sure you get the color right.
https://www.permatex.com/products/sp...er-repair-kit/ Then I use this for conditioning and protection: https://www.autoglym.com/leather-cleaner-balm From my experience, best conditioner on the market. You let it penetrate for about 10 minutes and then buff it off. The brits know leather. Hope this helps.
