Looking for photos of 45% tint

Does anyone have photos of a Metallic Black on Black Sport Touring or any other color Z with 45% or 50% tints all around or just the sides? Thank you

Hello Nixin,

Yes, I did check and I could not find anyone with anything higher than 35% tints in that whole thread. I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find a Z with 45% or 50% tints. Hopefully someone will see this thread.

Hi Richie,
There were notes on various posts that showed anywhere from 30%-80%(???). But who knows. I am certain someone will chime in with a specific reply. Cheers.

I found 50% online on a g37. 45% isn't dark at all.

Default re: tint

I just had my Nismo done with 42% tint on it. (The guy at the tint shop said to ensure it's legal tint, most people go with 50%. The factory has some amount of tint to the original window glass - but he couldn't see where Nissan actually stated the percentage anyplace stamped into a corner of the glass, like some manufacturers do. In any case, he said it usually amounts to somewhere between 10% and 15%.) He said he had the 42% tint available and it would typically wind up still keeping you *just* below the legal tint limit (at least for here in Maryland). Even if it went over due to combining with manufacturer's original window tinting, it would only be 1%-3% over. So not enough to call any attention to it.

Mine is Pearl White though, not black ... so not sure if that's helpful?

The side windows are marked AS2.
AS2 factory VLT is 70-75%.

If your trying to stay legal and your state's limit 50%, you have to find out whether it's "50% total" or "50% film." They're different.

The dot matrix isn't difficult to tint over... Having tinted numerous vehicles, I can attest to them not being an issue.
