Braum racing seat reviews?
Hey all, just looking to make a jump towards interior mods finally. I'm looking into a nice quality set of seats. Obviously these won't hit the grave with me but I'd like some years of use out of them. So basically it is as the title States. How many of you have Braum seats? Street or track time In them as well as like a 6 month or how ever long you've owned them review. They look really nice and have seen others do initial unboxing reviews and such. The price is being under $1000 for the pair honestly is what scares me, I don't want the trite old saying "you get what you pay for" to come back in bite me in the ***. If they are quality on the other hand....I'd like to hear current owners input. Also any pics would be cool I'm looking at the red and black venom series

I have the Elite series in maroon. I got a good deal on them so I pulled the trigger. I've had them for about 5 months and they are holding up very well so far. I daily the car and am in and out of them quite often and haven't had any issues. They are pretty comfortable, but after about a 3 hour drive they start to get uncomfortable to me. They are leaps and bounds better than the stock base seats and I've gotten several complements from them. The material looks brand new still and just a bit hard to get the random pieces of dirt out of the cracks but it's manageable. I also use this faux leather cleaner on them that really makes them shine. As long as you take care of them they look great. I would say that they are a bit tall and they have this spacer thing that you put between the rails and the actual seat on this model that I removed. I put some rubber between instead to protect the material and to lower them a bit so it doesn't hit the roof. Also the slider handles didn't end up in the box but they were very understandable and had them in the mail to me within a couple days.

Not sure about the color options but the bolstering has virtually no wear on after 5 months. The seats are for sure more comfortable then the stock seats, but I only had the stock seats in for a few weeks so I didn't take a long trip. I have about 3-4" headroom and I'm 5'9" 150 lbs so I'm a smallish guy. sorry about the sideways pictures, I couldn't get them the right way.

I have a friend who is 6'2" who has rode with me before and he has about an inch or so of head room. If worse comes to worse you can modify the seat bracket a bit to sit lower I think.

I wanted to bring this thread back from the dead to see how the seats are holding up. I'm looking at getting a set of these so I have a matching pair for street use. (I have a FIA bucket for the track, so i'm not worried using them on the track). If the overall quality is still good i might pick up a pair.
