On first look it reminds me most of the Moonbeam kit. However, on closer inspection, noticeable visual differences are: 1) what you pointed out about the DF kit being 1 piece/fender instead of 2 piece/fender. 2) the rear MB fender extends to the bottom of the rocker panel, it doesn't stop at the middle of the rocker panel like the DF. 3)the rear MB fender stops higher on the rear bumper. 4) the DF front flares are more flared, and less sculpted, as they join the front bumper.
If you could rely on the fitment it wouldn't be a bad looking alternative. That being said I am happy with my choice to go Moonbeam, the front flare of the MB is more to my liking. Plus, I expect the body work required to get duraflex to look right will offset the extra cost of buying from CarbonSignal. Last edited by AntiVenom; 01-06-2017 at 01:17 PM. |
