Default Need some help with my Evo-R foglight!

I just got my evo-r fog light installed on my z. I'm not good at all when it comes to lighting or electric work so I got it done by a shop near me. I told the guy that I wanted it to flash when I brake. When I got my car back, the foglight just stays on whenever I turn on my lights. It flashes in the beginning but doesn't flash when I press on the brake. I showed the guy the instructions that was sent along with it where it said white to green and red to red and black to black. He told me that's exactly how he hooked it up. I'd really appreciate your guy's help. And I would go to someone else for the lighting but I already paid the guy for installing the light. Thanks!

I think that he connected both wires (flash and on) to the same 12v source and not to the brake signal.

Update: I showed the guy this thread and he wants to know if there's anyway he can just test the light to see if it flashes.
Thanks!

Is there a way I can make the foglight flash for a couple of seconds when i brake and then have it be steady? Thanks!

Yes - I used THIS. You can set it up for multiple blinks, change the flashing rate and set up a time out mode. This time out mode was one function I wanted. I didn't want the brake light flashing constantly while in stop and go traffic. With the delay it knows you are in traffic and just gives a solid signal and then will start flashing again down the road when you brake hasn't been applied in x seconds.

Thanks!
Just hook up the white (if im not mistaken) cable(flash) to a positive 12v and the ground to a ground location. If should blink only, if that fails replace the white wire with the red one and re-test.

2/ light off: fog off but fog flash when brake on
3/ light on: fog always on whenever
4/ light on: fog off but fog flash when brake on
