Default Front Chin

Hey guys! So Im about 5.2k miles into my car and I pulled into work today to notice the bolt on my right side that holds my front chin has completely separated from the rubber bumper, meaning the bumper now hangs on that side. I'm a little disappointed owning the car for 3 months for something like this to already happen. What does you chin look like and have you seen similar wear? I think there was a thread on this a few months back but I can't seem to search it. Thanks.

Edit: typos

are you referring to the front spoiler?

Certainly not a common ocurrence as a factory defect, but certainly could be damaged by a hard scrape either on a dip in the street or driveway approach, or hitting a parking curb. Take it in to have the dealer look at it. Unless it shows that it came apart as a result of hitting something, they'll likely replace it under warranty. If they find that it's all scraped up and damaged, they'll likely express sympathy and recommend that you drive more carefully.

If you're talking about the bottom part of the bumper mine is 2 years old and all the screws are pretty much scraped off where it would screw the plastic into the bumper. I have zip ties holding it onto the bumper lol. The guy before me must've been scraping it like nothing. I've been browsing the specialty z shop and it looks like you can buy an aluminum bottom part instead of the plastic.

I think thats what did it, I'm not blaming the Z. Just a little disappointed the plastic is so easily flexed. I popped it back on for now, see if it holds. Not going to bother with the dealer.

my center deflector was held on by rivets. you can use a screw & nut and a larger washer to mount it back to the bumper. it's a real simple fix actually..

Yeah thats what it looks like, good solution. I'll give this a try if it looks like it warrants a fix when I go under it later today. I need to pick up some wire cutters from home depot anyway.

since installing the ings+, i removed that and the 2 small deflectors forward of the front tires.

I gave it another look, I can move the rubber over the bolt just fine. It looks like where the washer originally sat it'll go back just fine. I just need to unscrew then rescrew the bolt in. The plastic flexes so well it pulled off without cracking or tearing anything.
