Z1 Motorsports let me down!
So I ordered a brand new oem factory spoiler for the Z. I paid $491 including shipping. Thinking I got a good deal, I was happy and looking forward to installing it today. Once I opened the box, much to my dismay..It only contained the spoiler wrapped in bubble wrap and paper. No Nissan paperwork anywhere, install instructions, no lift gate cylinders or nuts and bolts!!!!! I have seen dealerships selling the spoiler for $550 which includes the entire kit! Z1 was extremely misleading and a true let down. Not to mention, they charge an absurd 20% restocking fee. I will never do business with these folks again!!!!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Z1.
Got to say, your comments are a bit odd. I've done business with Z1 for several years. They have always delivered. Only exception was a service issue that was related to a jerk mgr that is no longer with Z1. Are you saying the OEM spoiler "kit" includes new trunk lifts ? For $550? Find this hard to believe. It does seem the spoiler should have a mounting template(if its a OEM part). Would think hardware like mounting bolts etc should also be in the box. Have you spoke with Z1? John is the guy in parts I usually deal with. If so,what did they say? |

Did you try, you know... Calling them?
And try checking the forum first... eBay is recommended.

I called them and the one guy couldn't give me a straight answer so he just gave me an RMA #. I waited over a month for this thing. It came in damaged 3 times from the factory according to them.

Call them first before blasting them, give them the opportunity to make it right. If they don't regardless of their status on here feel free to let us know so we can individually decide for ourselves if we want to give them our business. Hope it works out for yah!
