Car looks impressive and well executed Mike.
However, I would like to point out one thing. You cannot heat fiberglass/carbon parts back to shape. If that is what your body shop told you, they are taking you for a ride. Most likely, they didn't install it correctly from the get go. Fiberglass (FRP) parts are thermosets. Once they cure, the shape is set. It cannot be reheated like thermoforms to take on an altered shape. Polyurethane parts are considered thermoforms. |
