Default Clutch pedal knock

Hello guys,
Got 1400 miles on new 370z started to feel a knock/step in clutch right when you start to engage the clutch. It's right when you feel the resistance of the spring or
Push rod. Dealership added some grease and lasted for 2 miles before you could feel it again. It feels mechanical, like a spring or something in the clutch mechanism. Anyone experience this or have previous experience?

happens to mine. working as intended... if you're paranoid like I was just double check your clutch fluids before you fire her up. if it's getting lower you should probably top it off and take her to the shop to check the CSC and CMC...

This happened to me. Turns out the spring for the clutch pedal is rusted (at least that's what they said). They had to replace the whole clutch pedal unit ($600?) but it was covered under warranty.

No more click/knock/stop when I step on the clutch.

oh man I have this issue as well. I thought it was normal for the z. It feels like shaking and making chatter noise. So I should go to the dealers for this?

It shouldn't "shake", that means something is loose. You should try to tighten everything on the pedal first. If that didn't help go to dealer, your car should still be under warranty.

Thanks guys! I don't have the shake on the pedal, not that severe. It did fix itself on the drive to work this morning. Dealership did say if doesn't get better or go away they would probably replace the whole unit near the pedal. I'm gonna drive the piss out of it over the next couple of days. It's just now past the break in point of 1200 miles and I have only opened it up a coupe of times.
To me, it doesn't feel like the spring or tension in it. I feel like it is a bend in a push rod, or possible the interaction between a bearing, like it's sticking.
I do appreciate all the input.
Will update when or if root cause is found.
Thanks

UPDATE:
Replaced the mechanism(box) under the dash. It came back again. Replaced CSC and it came back again. Now delete shop wants to go into flywheel. This feels like exploratory because they can't name the part they want to change out.
Anyone experienced this?

Remember to check that dumb little "helper spring" assembly attached to the clutch pedal.
