SRM just blips the throttle during shifting to facilitate easier/faster shifts. If anything, it makes things easier on the engine/transmission and may increase longevity (but probably not enough to make any real difference).

The amount of difference depends on how good a MT driver you are. For a good driver, it should be negligible. For a poor driver, it could mean things last significantly longer (although SRM is not going to prevent you from damaging the clutch system if you don't know what you're doing).

I assume that anyone that buys an MT nowadays knows how to use one; at least well enough to keep from trashing the synchros. Might not be a good assumption.

After all the How To Shift threads on this forum, I don't assume anything any more
