Default My 370z click during deceleration solved

Ok, so last year I noticed my car click when going from reverse to drive and then it would click at launch (just as starting a single click) and sometimes when lifting off throttle as its decelerating. This 7at. Car runs great and I could barely notice it so I left it alone and thought nothing of it.

Fast forward 1 year my new job requires me to park in a parking garage so I really noticed it and I noticed other people heard it also so I had heard there was a Tse for this but only for the 350 but I figured what the hell take it to the dealer. Roughly 2 dollar pin and now she puts again without that click. It's like a new car again.

Hete's my work order. Was under 200 to fix at least in NC.

That dealer works for the government. That 'click' is the gov'ment mind control and tracking device that is put in to every car since 2001!

Damn... $200 to grease the rear axles. That's the reason I do my own labor. I also get the benefit of not being "advised" about my aftermarket parts.

grease is Molykote M77. Only available in large quantities from suppliers but you can buy it from some Honda shops, particularly the motorcycle and atv stores in a more reasonable quantity. It's rumoured to be the same stuff that comes with OEM Honda brake pads but you'll need more than one packet.

Weigh the tube before and during application to determine correct quantity applied.

Greasing didnt work on one side of mine. I followed the instructions to a T too.

Default My 370z click during deceleration solved

I had mine fixed less than two years and it's doing it again. My 350 did it also and from things that I've heard, it is common to most Nissans. It ticks me off that they just blow this off and don't reengineer the issue.
When I asked my dealer about it, he said he'd never heard it happening on a Z. Guess he doesn't listen very well.

I may have a similar tick sound happening on my 6mt. 1st and 2nd gears, between each accel - decel, it ticks. I figured it was transmission. Any ideas?

Any Nissan dealer will prob charge the 110 to check it out but at least that can be applied towards the fix if you the work done there. It certainly less expensive if it's not the transmission
