Lightweight flywheel with stock clutch?

would i run into issues using a competition clutch light weight flywheel with oem clutch? just dont have the money for both. already got a new zspeed csc

would i run into issues using a competition clutch light weight flywheel with oem clutch? just dont have the money for both. already got a new zspeed csc

Get a Loan - and do it right once. Cause it's 5 hrs labor. Or do it your way and spend 10 hours labor.

Yup. I'm with instroke on that one. Save up a few more pennies to do the whole thing at once. Start raiding recycle bins or work a few more doubles.

Most aftermarket flywheels are single mast, where the stock one is dual, they wont even work together...Just change it all at the same time.

I have no issues with the Comp Clutch flywheel and the stock clutch disk / pressure plate. It's dual mass to cut down on the NVH, that has nothing to do with the grabbing surface.

I do agree with the others though. If you can't do your own labor, swap it all at once.

James I just got my Clutch/flywheel today more like 6 hrs. It was a bitch to do.

I had a jwt flywheel with a stock clutch for quite a while. It worked out just fine. Eventually took it out for a clutchmasters stage1 and replaced the CSC and CM.
