CJM Fuel Rails Review
So, lets get into the point
I used to have GTM fuel rails and for those of you who don't know about my build, the picture in my signature will direct you to my build thread With GTM fuel rails the car have some lean spot on low rpm (say from 1500 to 3500) and when I say lean it means the AFR gauge is showing ZEROs instead of high numbers. When I first saw CJM advertising their fuel rails that has these stock dampers it had me thinking why these got the dampers and GTM's product doesn't. I called Charles and all he said was I will not be disappointed if im switching to these. I paid for the fuel rails the second he said that and it was a pleasure to deal with him! Fast forward I got busy and couldn't install the fuel rails till now and lemme tell you, what im about to write is honest and proven. First of all there is not a single lean spot in entire RPM, I watched the whole RPM range from idle all the way to redline. Second, the drivability changed in a better way. Third, adjusting fuel by tune is recommended after changing from GTM to CJM My friend was with me the time I was testing these rails and I couldn't stop talking and complaining about these improvement. Of course, he was having no idea what I'm talking about as these days people think fuel rails are all the same just like I did in the past To be honest, I wanted to find a lean spot to call Charles to complain, report and see if he can improve these but nope, I failed and I was very impressed. I usually don't make a thread to make a review on something but this product exceeded my expectation so I had to return the favor back. You Charles are the best to communicate with and later on when you release a new product I will know with eyes closed that it will be tested and drivability proven Here a picture of GTM fuel rails that I had. I will post picture of my CJM rails when I have a chance to capture some. Cheers.

I appreciate the review! It isnt often someone takes the time to do that.
I can relate with the before/after going from a VQ with fuel pulsation problems and then solving that problem. It feels so relieving and like a burden has been lifted. It is difficult to accept that fuel pulsation is the source of such driveability issues when most of the aftermarket scene disregards their relevance and place in a highly modified vehicle. Some combinations being more picky than others, the VQ is the most sensitive engine to removing the FPDs that I have experience with. I am sure so many more vehicles are negatively influenced by removal of the FPDs, but that the owners just write-off the issue as a tuning flaw or other side effect. I personally went a couple years on my 350z DE build believing that the stuttering was a problem related to either the crank or cam triggers or a problem with my FCON. I felt pretty foolish when I learned it was the result of my billet rails that had eliminated the FPDs! Thanks again for the review, and I am very glad to hear that our product has made your vehicle more enjoyable to drive.

You remember when I asked you if retune is needed when switching from your V1 to V2 and you said I don't have to. My AFR gauge is telling me something else, the Idle and cruising are running richer now.
I thought it could be the same or leaner but never thought it could be richer. I didn't change anything in fuel lines it was bolt on as we speak. Does your V2 flows more than your V1 assuming that we are using identical fuel lines? PS: best part of this product is CJM are using OEM dampers, talking about drivability yet durability. Good stuff

I would expect it to run richer in the areas it was leaning out before. But unless someone was trying to dump fuel in the tables to try and fix the lean spots, it shouldn't need much in the way of a retune. Closed loop fueling should keep it all clean.
