Is this normal?

I have a 370z 2010 auto. Whenever i try and rev the car in parking or neutral, it doesn't go pass 5000rpm. It reaches 5000rpm then cuts off. Is this

Whenever i try and rev the car in parking or neutral, it doesn't go pass 5000rpm. It reaches 5000rpm then cuts off. Is this normal or something wrong with my car? Seeing all the 370z exhaust videos on youtube. Some of the autos on there sounds like they can rev pass 5000rpm.
