Brake ABS and traction lit up.

As above all three stayed on then went off after shut down and restart. Checked brake fluid all OK. Did research this forum and most had abs traction and slip

Default Brake ABS and traction lit up.

As above all three stayed on then went off after shut down and restart. Checked brake fluid all OK.
Did research this forum and most had abs traction and slip on which is different to what I had.

Was driving around with traction off prior to this occurring. Went to store turned car on and above lights stayed on.

This usually gets answered with brake fluidfluid, abs wires or brake switch

How is your battery and battery connections? If the battery is starting to go south it will cause some strange problems like this.

So is it still on or did it stay off after you shut down and re-started?

If the former, it's under warranty, so just go and have the dealership pull the codes and check the various switches.

The brake fluid looks normal from that pic, but if it's even a little low, being on an incline is enough to trigger the warning lights. Either way, if it is still on, and fluid is at full line (or a **** hair above), then I'd let the dealer look at it.

If the latter, it could be something glitchy in the latest BCM detection logic. I wouldn't sweat it unless it comes back, in which case, follow suggestion #1.

In my personal experience, the brake fluid level in that photo is low enough to cause the BRAKE and/or SLIP lights to come on during spirited driving. I haven't personally had the ABS light come on like that, but it is almost guaranteed to be the brake fluid level.

In the photo, there appears to be a shadow that makes it look full. I am guessing the level is right around the seam in the reservoir.

Thanks for the input guys. The lights went off after a shut down and restart and have not yet come back so not really worried about it. If this persists then ofcourse I will have no choice but to go to a dealership.

The funny thing is I was not driving hard but was driving with the traction control off ( first time actually ). Then when I stopped to get a redbox movie I turned car and these three lights stayed on.

check the rear half shaft c-clips they can break and on occasion while turning or accelerating the half shaft can walk out past the abs ring, I don't believe it can come completely out though so not too much of a worry but it should be fixed. the c-clips are like $0.80 at nissan but changing them is not too fun(not the worst but not easy)

consult3 should be able to tell you which wheel sensor saw the error

I got this recently too, once under semi hard braking, and the other was today. I put new RS3s on and I wanted to do a burn out to get that break in crap later off, and as I hit the limiter bang Christmas lights, lost power, whole shebang (7AT, traction control off, and I put more brake fluid in the other day)
