Just bought a new Z. Where is the A/C low side port located?
Hello forum, just bought my first 370z last week so not sure where everything is located. My a/c runs but it doesnt shoot out cold air. Just bought some r-134a and trying to find the low side port to charge it. I can only find the "H" labeled port and Im assuming that means "high". The instructions said make sure not to connect the coupler to the high side or the can might explode so i want to stay clear of the "H"
I have attached some pics of what I am looking at here. I followed down the metal pipe thinking that the low side would be on the same piece but it was nowhere to be found. Any help would be appreciated. |

Have not really looked at the Z, but you want to charge in the larger suction line port. The line will be larger than the discharge line.

It's on the driver's side under the snap in cover by the brake and clutch fluid reservoirs.

When you're charging it, get the suction pressure to ~50psi. Make sure you're running the AC and fan on max (to ensure maximum airflow) with the windows down (to avoid short cycling cold air from the cabin)
Your outlet temps when properly charged should be 50-55 degrees. |
