VLSD or not??
So I have a base model 09 370Z, and the open diff is killing me. I'm also going FI soon, so I could benefit from longer gearing like in the AT pumpkin. So I bought one, the tag says "locking" and the shop I got it from swears they got it off a sport model 350Z, but when I turn one axle stub one way the other turns the opposite direction, and from everything I've been reading, that indicates that it is an open diff. The only thing I can think is maybe since it's vlsd and not a clutch lsd this test may not be accurate? If anyone knows I'd appreciate some insight.
