Default Weird thing happened in second gear

I was in manual shifting mode and at about 3500 rpm it felt like it was sputtering and wouldn't let me go higher. It also jerked the whole car. It kept doing this, but I turned the car off and on and then it was fine. It happened yesterday and today it is still fine. Any ideas?

I think it did go in limp mode after researching. I had literally just gotten gas right before it happened so is it possible that it is a fuel starvation issue coming from gas not settling or something?

Limp mode. Check your sparkplugs. Limp mode likes fouling the sh!+ out of 'em!

Cycle the ignition and let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes. And no, limp mode doe not foul your plugs. Continuing to rev the engine above that limp mode thresh-hold, will foul them. Just don't do that.

There is information missing from your post, what was your oil temp? What's the last thing you did before starting the shift cycle?
Do you have an auto?

My guess is "Random Multiple Misfire" CEL, but it looks like he vanished as well.
