It's not just 4 pins It's 7 (and another 5 if you drill the holes for the original fasteners along the leading edge as shown in their photo) then you would have to pry it out from under the bumper cover to remove it. Not very convienent here in NJ Maybe SoCal. You may be thinking of the battery and brake fluid covers.
I had heard and they mention fitment issues with the Nismo none for the stock Z?

That's what one of the vendors here told me as well. Looks like they still fit as badly as they used to and someone was just trying to sell me something.

I'm well aware of how that piece is removed. It takes no more than 5 minutes to remove it even with 7 fasteners.

I made my own carbon fiber rad cover,
