Default Reseting the ECU?

Once you get done adding some bolt ons like CAI and CBE is there a way to reset the ECU? Actually did try the search, but didn't come up with anything or used the wrong terms.

Thanks

Jim

On my gc I usually just disconnect the negative on the battery and let it sit for few minutes and the ecu resets itself, not too sure if this will work on your Z because I don't own one yet.

Same thing on the Z

Also

Op, Be warned you will probably need to do a window reset also

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Close the door.

3. Open the window completely by operating
the power window switch.

4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to
close the window, and then hold the switch
more than 3 seconds after the window is
closed completely.

5. Release the power window switch. Operate
the window by the automatic function to
confirm the initialization is complete.

6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other
windows.

For the CAI installation you should unplug the negative battery plug anyway
PS: The ECU will adjust itself (no tune "really needed") to the new values if you don't go too wide with the CAI tubes.
