What oil temp is considered warmed up?
At what oil temp do you guys usually warm up to before you start any spirited driving?

With my cooler I have to be in traffic or on the track to hit 180 lol.

Themostatic Plates aren't 100%, there's always flow. They're 100% open at their specified temp, but they're never 0%.

180 before I accelerate hard.
With the thermostats, the path to the oil cooler is always 100% open. It is the direct path through the filter that closes as the temperature increases, forcing more of the oil through the cooler. |
