In tank fuel regulator bypass
Hey everyone.
I am currently putting together a fuel return kit. The sticking point is the OEM fuel pressure regulator. What are you guys using to bypass this. I have seen Z1 and CJM do kits but im interested to know if anyone has completed a DIY delete without pricey delete kits. |

Interested if anyone has a solution. CJM has a return fuel pump kit for ~$150 that has the basics but it’s more components than just the regulator delete.

I can put together the rest of the kit no problem at all. It’s the regulator delete piece I’m stuck with. There’s nothing technical to it, it’s free flowing but the issue is it needs to be the correct size to fit in the location where the OEM regulator sat. I’m guessing with it being a return it won’t be under any kind of load.

Yes it is pressurized due to the venturi system. So return or returnless doesnt change it, that only changes how long the plumbing between the regulator and the venturi is. The venturi system operates on a principle of pressure differential, so to relieve the backpressure would be to kill the venturis.
