Looks like that is just a blank port to me. If a connector was supposed to go in there it should have the female end where it's blank.

I wouldn't bet on it. As I was installing some wires through the door connector, I noticed the connector also didn't have all wires/pins in it. There isn't anything else that could go through that connector for the Z, so I'm suspecting that Nissan recycles some of these connectors between different models, and for some you need extra functions, for some you don't. Thereby meaning that sometimes not all pins are used in the connector.
With that in mind, I would suspect it's all normal in your case. |
