When I load test battery, it comes out to 11.38 volts, is that good?

Was just wondering if battery is bad

What type of battery? Lead acid, or AGM?

Fully charge it, then check the voltage.

Voltage alone will not tell you complete story.

Fully charge it and have it CAPACITY tested.

If you have a serviceable type, you can check fluid level and do a proper Specific gravity test of each cell.

Then charge and capacity test again.

To answer your question: If your battery was above 12.2-12.4 vdc before load test, then 11.38 looks normal.

What did you do a load test with? It should tell you if it has good capacity and voltage is good. The old analog, dial type would have a Green, yellow or Red range markings.

Thank you for the replies fam! I load tested with a battery tender load test. Even with car on, I load tested it with the switch and it dropped down to 12.9v!

I don't understand this part.

Do you mean, you did a Voltage drop test across battery terminals, while cranking engine?

Anything above 10v on the voltage drop is ok. you're losing about 1.5v.

Not really sure on what that means. Without some understanding of the programs attributes and terminology, it would be guess work.

You may want to ask Z1 by the looks of the tool.

My guess is: The ECM is picking up the signal from fuel level sensor, which is voltage from the variable resistor. since you are parked and level, it's not sending any voltage or low voltage.

Not to hijack OP's thread, but speaking of batteries, I noticed that on my other car, the battery post grease looks like it's drying up and there are crack marks within the grease. No signs of corrosion, and I used the grease that came with the post felt rings. What would cause this and indicate?

Nothing the worry about. It's the grease drying out. You could smear it around again, or wipe it off and use a battery protector spray.

Basically what I wanted to say, but just couldn't come up with such simple words.
