Default Vibration questions

I did a search and read a lot about vibration at high speeds.

2017 Nismo 47,000 km. I encountered my first experience yesterday going through 160kph (110mph) (closed circuit of course). Straight ahead, slight upgrade, constant acceleration. It was a sustained vibration throughout the whole car.

I decelerated with foot off gas (no braking) and vibration was still present. It went away at about 120 kph.

Besides the basics of tire balance, rotor warp, can OLD tires be cause of this? My rears are about 2 years old, front are stock. good and even tread on all 4's. All same Bridgstone Potenza.

I will check other basics like drive shafts.

Also, can wheel bearings fail without causing some sort of noise.? I am on 20mm spacers all around on stock Nismo v2 rims.

TIA

Your tire balance is out as you suspected. Just spin the tires and make sure you don't have a bent wheel. Shouldn't have a bent wheel though. Our wheels are tough. Tires could have a flat spot from sitting. They normally come out once the tires get up to temp.

definitely tire balance like spooler said. I had a really bad vibration due to some flat spotting on some old tires at only 85mph. re-balancing them fixed it.

Oh and it was on hoist all winter, wheels off grond. but it did sit a week before drive. I did drive it for several miles before pull and it was about 12C outside.

Good to know. Thanks
