Would it be possible to tune the 7at to cut throttle for a longer period of time than stock to get a better shifting sound?

Or... is this wishful thinking to think I could get a old torque converter to sound more like a DCT?

You(r tuner) can tune line pressures higher, which firms up the shifts and will give you some of what you're looking for.
I'm unsure if adjusting throttle cut amount is possible, but I wouldn't be surprised either

Thanks for the reply... just got a little jealous seeing manufacturers nowadays tune "drama" in these modern torque converters. Like the ZF tranny at WOT has added drama with the shift. Noticed even on the new Z with the 9 speed the shifts sound the same as our 7 speed... no added drama or anything lol
