When replacing my gaskets i take off my valve cover and there is a piece broken off, dont really want to spend the 300 dollars if i dont need to.

Should i get a new valve cover
When replacing my gaskets i take off my valve cover and there is a piece broken off, dont really want to spend the 300 dollars if i dont need to. Thanks!IMG_3420.jpg
