Hi guys I need a bit of advice. I'm about to attempt to do the oil gallery gasket for preventive maintenance. I'd like to change the oil pump as well..

Oil pump
Hi guys I need a bit of advice. I'm about to attempt to do the oil gallery gasket for preventive maintenance.
I'd like to change the oil pump as well.. unfortunately I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for in terms of Removal process and assembly process from the FSM. I have done a search and someone has mentioned that it has to be dissemble piece by piece. So- my question is. What are the torque specs for the oil pump cover. Does it use a gasket or RTV? What's the Prime process? Do I need to use grease or something? Would OEM oil pump be fine or just upgrade to Boundary? Thanks in advance for the advice. |
