Default Manual trans parts discontinued

Sorry if this is a bit of a rant , but I just had my clutch master cylinder go out and not even auto zone can get them. All discontinued, Theres no junk yard in my area with any Z's .The only place I found a rebuild kit is Z1 motersports that have it listed for the 350. And 1 on eBay. So I thought about all the others for different cars ,and there only 2 in stock for every manual trans car in existence. The only part that really goes bad is the seals. They are called u-cup seals ,same for any high pressure pistion , hydrologic pump. Like all the floor Jack's that never stay up. So now that I have to wait a week to get 2 seals,I'm going through all my spare suspension urethane parts. And I'm going to design a mold and with 1 of my 3d printers I'm going to melt down some urethane and mold my own seals. Has anyone else had a headache trying to get some of the manual trans parts that are not 10x over priced?

They were discontinued because they failed I beat. Just buy one through Nissan. They aren't that much.

My nearest Nissan dealer is 2 hours away. I'm just ordering the rebuild from Z1,. My mold turn out crazy on spec for the first print, if I had some thermoset it would work.

I think he is referring to the 350Z not $350.

Duh lol

Weird how the rebuild kits seem to be out of stock everywhere. Let us know how the rebuild goes with your printed parts

I ended up finding a u-cup seal from a random master cylinder I had, didn't think it was going to work ,but after I got it all back together and blead the line. I'm back to full clutch presher now.
