Default Vlsd with FDFperformance diff brace

I did a thing over the weekend, finally got around to installing my Vlsd, Now i went with the sport package Vlsd because for my use it was plenty.
So, i searched and ended up finding a used unit about 1hr away from home, for $350. Also, i bought the whiteline polybushing kit to go along with it, and added a diff brace as well.

Uninstalling everything:
This took me about 2 hours to do, unbolted my exhaust, took the "A" shaped brace off and unbolt the driveshaft and axles and i had it out in know time.

Prep:
while i had everything out i decided to do a little preventive maintenance, by painted my exhaust flame proof black, and diff the dupli-color epoxy black worked like a charm! this took me a couple days to do, since weather wasnt on my side lol

Installing:

As far as the diff bushing that holds the stud that took me roughly 25min to take out and install, nothing a sawzall and muscle with a hint of a dead blow hammer couldnt fix popped right put. when it came to installing it, i used the grease pack it comes with, lined the bushing to the hole and wacked it a couple good times with the dead blow hammer and it worked like a charm.
For the 2 diff mounting bushing those were cake.
everything else was self explanatory had to put the exhaust back on. torqued everything down such as the axle mounting bolts, axle bolts, drive shaft bolts along with some blue loctite to be on the safeside. installed my diff brace and he is looking meannnn!!!

All in all wasnt a hard project id say 4 hours total maybe 5, that not including the prep work paint and such.

Went for a shack down after treating the exhaust and boy this thing hooks now!! Car gets squirrely too. My shifts feel way more positive if that makes any Sense. Launch control with Vlsd is a must. 10/10 would recommend lol for daily use

As far as diff fluid: i ended up using enoes 75w80 for diff and tranny. Catalog said it covers anywhere from 75 w 80 to 80w90. For my use it plenty.

GL-4 75w90 for the tranny and GL-5 75w90 for the rear end. The difference is because of the synchro's in the transmission.

Oh yea i agree, but On enoes website and catalog it showed that the 75w90 does both. Reason i went with Enoes rather then sticking to royal purple, which was also recommend for diff/tranny, is i find it to be a little stiff in the cold weather. Looking for something closer to factory flavor.

Talking

If you use a GL5 lube in the tranny. It will slowly eat the synchro's in there.

Really?? The same oil for the differential and manual transmission?

Maybe the enoes folks have some magical oil...

I have never seen one oil used for both. The friction requirements are very different between a differential (slippery as possible aka GL5) and a manual transmission (just enough friction so the syncros work properly aka GL4)

For me, I only use the Nissan MTL in the transmission and any synthetic 75W90 in the diff.

If your gear shifting starts to feel "crunchy" please get that stuff out asap to prevent syncro teeth damage.

Yea royal purple is the same way lol, ive switched to royal purple at 27,000 miles and i now have 55,000 with no issues. Im just switching because its due already. I wanna try enoes, because in the catalog it say its recommend for trannys that require 75w85. Todays oil it's far more superior in ever way. Im really not worried about it. Ill keep you guys posted on the outcome

I was curious and went to Royal Purple's website... It looks like they don't have a manual trans oil for the 370??
