Default ZSpeed CMAK with a RJM clutch pedal??

Couldn't find this on a search, but do these 2 components work well together?Currently have my RJM pedal installed, the APF setting is at 50%,is that a good place to start and can the CMAK be bled at that setting,or would I have to slide it to the stock setting (0%) to do that like the stock CSC?Do not have the CMAK as of yet.

They work well together. Ask Ryan at RJM about the best settings for bleeding. He's always very helpful and is familiar with the CMAK unit.

From the Rev 3.x instruction manual on RJM's website:

Quote:
* Note On Bleeding Clutch System* If you are attempting to manually bleed the hydraulic system (without a Power Bleeding System) while the RJM Pedal is installed then you must reduce the AFP setting to 0% restoring full stroke to the master cylinder in order toget all the air out. Failing to do so will make manual bleeding extremely difficult of not impossible. You must also adjust the Clutch Rod angle to ensure the master cylinder rod is moving straight in/out of the master cylinder after adjusting the AFP setting to Zero. Failure to adjust the clutch rod angle may cause binding of the pedal linkage and potentially damage to the master cylinder internally. Please see the Tuning Section of this RJM Installation Guide for Specific Steps Required.

Thanks.....I believe these instructions were intended for the stock clutch/csc set-up,but I did contact Ryan at RJM and the same applies for the CMAK set-up as well(setting APF at 0% for bleeding).Joe at ZSpeed recommends leaving the RJM pedal in the stock APF (0%)position after the bleeding is complete.Ryan at RJM says u can adjust it to the 50-75% APF setting with the ZSpeed clutch/CMAK after the bleeding is complete.I am going to try it out at the stock 0% first and maybe bump it up to 25-50% if I want to change the feel a bit.

It sounds like it's safest at 0% (or just using a power bleeder if you have one) but you can keep it at 50-75% if you have a CMAK. If that's the way you like it, it's more convenient to leave it at that setting while you bleed, but if you have to adjust it anyway, you might as well adjust it to 0 to be safest.

Is that the gist of it?

With the CMAK the APF setting has to be set to 0% to do a proper bleed just like the stock system.
