Default 2020 370Z transmission oil leak

My 2020 Z had left an oil spot on my garage floor with only 300 miles on the clock. I took it to the dealer I bought it from, and the tech just tightened the trans oil drain plug.
Several days later, another oil spot on the floor.
I decided to take it to another dealer, as I did not trust the first dealer.
After a few hours, the dealership called me and told me the it was an unusual leak and the were going to keep the car for a few days.
The engineers from Los Angeles came down and looked at the trans. It was decided that the trans had to be replaced as my trans had to be further evaluated as to why it was leaking oil from the drain plug.
A few days later, my car was returned with a new trans.
Nissan said this was the first time they have had this problem with the Z car, and wanted to determine how this problem happened.

I hope this helps others who may have had this oil leak problem. And no, it wasn't just the replacement of the crush washer on the plug.

Talking

Might be a hair line crack at the drain plug from over tightening. Wouldn't be the first time.
