Nismo diff on roadster

I’m new member but been lurking for awhile. I couldn’t find the answer to This question on search. I want to install a 2016-2017 at nismo diff in my 2019

Default Nismo diff on roadster

I’m new member but been lurking for awhile. I couldn’t find the answer to
This question on search. I want to install a 2016-2017 at nismo diff in my
2019 At roadster Base. Is it something that can be done and what issues
Might I encounter.

Swapping complete diffs. It's a bolt in. The only thing you have to watch for is the axle stub bolting. Some axle stub are threaded, while others are a through bolt with a nut.

Yes this is true about the threaded axle stubs. Even if you order one through Infiniti/Nissan they ALL come threaded. You could transfer over your axle stubs or you could also drill out the holes which is the best option. Also note....some of the VLSD’s have one longer axle stub instead of being equal sizes.

Thought that all of the OEM VLSD's had the longer stub axle on one side.

With the nismo diff at what speed would I get the drop off since it’s setup

I found a nismo diff for about 1k with 25k on it and itching to pull the plug, but at the same time
The car has little miles and don’t want issues so if it’s an easy plug and play I’m game.
