Default Hit a pothole | p1239 Throttle Position Sensor

So...

Just finished tuning the topgunz A-A kit with seb, fresh zspeed stage 2 clutch install last weekend, fixed my idle issue... then....

Was driving home from an event and hit a pothole. Wasn't too bad.. but the suspension on my 350z nismo is pretty stiff (stock). My dash lit up like a christmas tree. Check engine light was on, TCS was on... thought I saw a 3rd. She dies while i'm on the road.

Plugged in UpRev and it was a Throttle Position Sensor p1239.

I know that the Y-pipe for the TG's A-A kit is tight in there. Possible that the pothole resonated and reached the Throttle bodies? Anyone else run into this?

Are you using a TB extension harness? If so do not trust it although mine has never thrown a P1239 from hitting a big bump or pothole, only random, unpredictable times.

I now have a routine to fix it whenever it happens.
With motor off I pop the bonnet, tap lightly on the TB and all the extension harness connectors, (with a little LED aluminium torch), close the bonnet, plug in my BlueDriver OBD2 scanner into OBD2 port, start engine and clear the P1239 code through the BlueDriver software on my mobile phone. Then all is back to normal (till it bloody happens again)!

As a matter of fact. I made a custom TB extension harness. Each wire has an independent ground + fireproof sleeve.

I reset the Cel and it did not come back. These are new throttlebodies too, barely 2K miles on them

... Maybe I'll just eliminate this cable all together and extend the stock harness. Just didn't want to start hacking away at the engine harness
