Default Recovering my limp mode (damage?)

After installing new headlights, I blew a fuse. Didn't find out until I had been out driving for about 15 min. Temps through the roof a/c shut down etc. Parked the car and let sit 30 min. Started back up and it was definitely in limp mode, almost no power. Got to mechanic's about 5 miles later. Figured out the problem, boom everything back to normal.

However, ever since that day it feels, and sounds, like the car is running differently. The mechanic said it got pretty hot but shouldn't have damaged anything, so maybe it's all in my head.

Is it possible that my car is running at 70/80% efficiency / power? It feels and sounds like it....

Just keep an eye on your fluids (oil and coolant) watch for any milkiness.
That would be signs of a warped head or blown head gasket. Keep an eye on the temps too for a bit.

In addition to what sportsman said, you can also get a compression test or a leak down test for insurance. The leak down being the better of the 2.
