Is the oil temperature going up? Or the water temperature lights moving to the right?

I no have modifications in my car. The car have 2 years without use. I inspect the coolant lines bit i not see any leaks. When accelerate hard the water temp is going up, up more than the normal some times 3 qtrs. And then is low down, when check the radiator i see lose the coolant fill up and repeat and is the same situation.

Lets start with simple stuff: - Check radiator Fins for blockage -make sure Electric fan is working -fan shroud is not misaligned or broken. -check coolant level. ( you may not have a leak, but not enough quantity or proper ratio) After that, it is cooling system: Thermostat, plugged lines, water pump. After 2 years without use, I suspect some sort of corrosion and blockage or failure of components, like sticking thermostat or water pump that is nearing seizure. Good luck Last edited by ZoomZ; 08-08-2020 at 11:57 AM. |

Coolant is a liquid. It's going to be loose
Sticking thermostat sounds feasible. I'd check other stuff first though cause easier.
