Default Auto rev up while moving shifter to the side while driving in S Mode

Hi i just want to ask if something is broken with my s mode. It works pefectly and everything is fine but when i first bought it and turned s mode on and then put car to neutral and moved shifter to the side while driving, the car would rev up automatically (thinking im going to downshift) but after some time using it it doesnt rev up automatically while moving the shifter to the side. But while downshifting rev match is working normally. So i just want to know if something is broken or not but while downshifting it works perfectly as i said. I hope you get it my english is not so good. Thank you for help.

Is normal ............. just take the car from one gear to the next and don't faff about with the shifter .......... it's not your willie so don't play with it.

Have you made any changes to the shifter mechanism? It should rev up the engine when moving the shifter to the left. But it also will depend on vehicle speed.

No i didnt do anything with mechanism or stuff like that. It worked for like a month and than suddenly stopped and now it works only sometimes i dont know why. I tried it in any speed and nothing happening. And im doing everything like i did before and now it isnt working like before. So you think it might have something to do with mechanism? Becouse i didnt do anything with it and it works inconstistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt work but most of the time it doesnt work.

It looks like there may be something intermittently wrong with your synchro rev. I would make an appointment with your dealer to have it checked. It could simply be a shifter alignment issue or a bad switch/ button.

Did you try switching the system off (hold button down 5 seconds) and back on? Did you try disconnecting the battery to see if it resets?

I tried switching it off and on. Still doesnt work. Do you think that some kind of senzor can unplugged from the shiffter?

Could be. Try removing the center shifter surround and check the plug going to the SyncroRev button. Make sure it is firmly plugged in. If there was any work performed on your car involving the transmission, the center console/shifter surround would have been removed. It is possible that it was simply not plugged in all the way during re-assembly.
