No Synolimit - who else can port TB + Mani?
It seems nobody is able to contact Synolimit anymore because his inboxes are always full, and I can't find him on Facebook, and he does not reply to comments on his Youtube channel, etc.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows a reliable place or person that does porting of stock throttle bodies + upper intake manifolds? This will be my last mod before getting tuned and I'm trying to find out who can do it for a reasonable price because I'm not going to shell out $800 for EPS TB's and I don't want 75mm TB's from a Maxima either, it's too big for my application. I also tried calling Synergy Composites, who used to be affiliated with Synolimit I think, but I have not heard a reply from them either. I'm aware of Maxbore as well, but I don't think that he does manifolds? Anyone got any ideas? I would appreciate the info, thanks! |

Nurse Necktat hasn't been around the forum in a while. He dragged Synergy's rep through the mud, so they won't be much help I'm guessing.
Lots of people have had it done by local shops. Maybe ask around in your region subforum also.

Ehh not much available within a few hour radius of where I live, I'm guessing. Sucks to live in Arkansas. That's why I'm probably just gonna have to ship my parts to someone for the work to be done.

Maxbore.com is your best choice for the TB,
Send your Uppers and lowers to CFM performance in Indiana, they have been very helpful.

My concern about sending the TB and manifolds to separate shops is that they won't be port matched to each other so I'm hoping I can find 1 place that can do both of them together.

If the shop is at all competent, they'll have no trouble hitting your port measurement. The port on your parts will be close enough if both shops are competent.

Nice, nice.. okay, maybe I'll try to use Maxbore for the TBs and CFM for the manifolds, if the price is decent enough at CFM.
If they want too much $$ to port the manifolds, I may just leave them stock and only get the TBs done. I feel like I'm gonna be missing out on some decent gains if I don't get at least the TBs ported to 63mm since I'm using AAM's 2.75" intakes. Would I need some kind of adapter plate if I only got the TBs done and not the manifold? |
