In your situation the transmission pcm is the culprit more times than not. Before you fork over all the coin for a new or used 7AT transmission have your transmission pcm tested by your shop or Nissan dealership service department to see if the transmission pcm failed internally. Overall our 7AT transmissions are reliable/dependable transmissions. If you track your Z or beat on your Z then expect parts to fail. Plan ahead and have a fund set aside or a warranty to cover broken/failed parts it will happen eventually. Look into upgrading your 7AT transmission asap.
