Default Possible Engine issue-need opinion

Good Day All,

It’s been a while since I’ve had the hood open and heard my engine.
Can someone tell me if this sounds normal at engine idle?

https://youtu.be/Rx5lESZeLac

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I feel like it's normal, sounds like the valve chatter is a little loud

I use Seafoam in all my cars, but as a fuel additive. I add a can after each oil change. I've never used it as an oil additive, but I'm curious to see if it remedies this issue.

You should be able to track down the source of the noise with a mechanic's stethoscope or a piece of garden hose (one end to ear while moving other end around engine compartment). Be very careful around moving parts when exploring.

If it's valve train noise, using ester oil may quieten things down.

Normal lift chatter. Scared the F outta me when I first heard it w my hood up, window down, in a closed garage. Ester oil quieted it down a bit but it is still rather loud in those conditions I just mentioned.

Sound normal. One time a tire monkey at NTB told me I had "spark knock". I told him to stick to tires

Thanks for the responses guys—took it for a ride this morning—checked under the hood again and it doesn’t seem so bad now. I’ve had a few car issues lately and I think I’m just paranoid of what’s next to go wrong. Still fighting an intermittent battery drain....

Remove one of the battery terminal and hook up an ammeter (in series). Note how much current the car is pulling. It won't be zero; there will a little bit of current for the ECU. Start pulling fuses until the current drops. You've isolated the problem to whatever is connected to that fuse.

No worries. Paranoia and valve chatter make evil companions. I was tweaking out for a month with mine.
