Default P006a

Hi
I just bought the takeda long tube intakes, I already have custom muffler deletes, second day with a cel popped up with p006a, something related to manifold pressure. I cleared the code and I am running fine so far, the guy who checked the code at oreillys said that the code is triggered when you install CAI's and then it disappears after a few days.
I am scared from running lean or rich.
What should I do?

Are you still running cats or have you switched to HFCs or TPs? Have you considered a tune? Ecutek recommended.

If all is well, probably just the ECU figuring out the new airflow...

I got one with just intakes... throttle response improvement alone was worth it

But if no codes come back you're probably fine. Plenty of people run aftermarket CBE and intakes without a tune or issues.

+1. Did you manually reset the ECU after installing the intakes? If not, that's probably why the code is popping. ECU gets downright ornery ab getting its learn on if you dont.
