Holy Crap! That's a lot of cash for a shifter. Do you track your Z?
I've had my B&M for years and love it, but it doesn't have the lockout features. I really have no need for them though. I hope you like it and it lives up to your expectations.

I already have an aftermarker shifter (i don't know the brand but guessing its TWM) but it sucks so much, i have to force just about each gear, makes me hate my Z, i'm hoping this will make a big difference, otherwise its back to OEM. i dont track my car i just want to enjoy driving it. RJM clutch pedal fixed the shitty clutch feel...just need to fix the shifter.

The Coolerworx short throw shifter is expensive but is well worth it and is a great improvement over the Genuine Nissan OEM shifter definitely. On my last Z I was able to improve my times at the track after the Coolerworx short throw shifter installation as I found myself forcing it into gear using the Genuine Nissan OEM shifter which over time can damage your transmission. The Coolerworx short throw shifter can prevent you from damaging your transmission and has nice features. Install the RJM Performance petal if you have not already it’s well worth it.

I highly recommend it. I do track my car and the shifter is as good as you are gonna get for a 370z!

I believe I spoke to you on the SOHO Motorsports facebook earlier today. If you would prefer someone to install it, we are just down the road in Charlotte.
http://sohomotorsports.com/Coolerwor...structions.pdf Here is a link for anyone interested, it's slightly out of date as this was before they released the updated pad for the 370Z that does not require drilling. |

Ok, I finally ordered one. Pricey, but I believe it will be worth it.
